The team had a lovely day at Frickley Park, with all the horses having positive runs. Killy Puissance, owned by the late Danni Meehan, produced another foot perfect double clear on a 31 dressage HC in the BE100. She is such a fantastic little mare who is a huge credit to Danni’s hard work and Jeanette feels it is an honour to ride her.
Star of the day was Malbay Master (pictured), owned by Ruth Williams, who produced a lovely test for a score of 31.3 and then jumped double clear in the BE80. He is such a lovely four-year-old who is sadly looking for a new home.
Head Girl Katy Mousdale took Ruth and Mike Mousdale’s Chill Chick around her first event. She showed a lot of promise with a 34.8 dressage score, one rail down and a clear cross country. Meanwhile Becky Cooknell had her own Sultan in the BE90. They did a great dressage for 31, two rails down show jumping and a couple of blips across country but sailing through the tough combinations.
