The team had a busy and enjoyable weekend at Catton Park. It’s a beautiful location and great to be back eventing there again.
Sally Hayward and Mary Macgregor’s Drumgiven Mr Charisma (pictured) jumped a lovely slow double clear in the Intermediate on a 30 dressage test to finish in the top 10.
Swhiskey, owned by Molly Jackson and Rupert Neal, also jumped a lovely slow double clear in the Novice with a 29 test.
Jill Sackett’s 6yo Primero stepped up to Novice in style with a 27.5 test, one down and clear XC. Omard Lady Lot also did her first Novice with a 31.5 dressage, one pole down and confident clear XC.
Mark Johnson and Yvonne Mott’s My Cool Gold just added a few time to a 27.5 test dropping her to second place in the BE100. Their My Forever Blue also did a 27.5, rolled a pole and jumped clear XC, time faults dropping him out the top three.
Ruth William’s One Night Only did a 27 test, 4 faults SJ and clear XC in the BE90. At the same level, Dissington Stud’s 5yo Faerlie Edited had a great first experience in the GOBE90, a few green moments but finished full of confidence.
Becky M and her own Burton’s Girl had another solid BE90 run with a 33 test, one pole and clear XC.
