Swhiskey and Drumgiven Mr Charisma had an outing to Alnwick Ford and it was well worth the five hour trip up north for proper galloping courses.
Sally Hayward and Mary Macgregor’s Drumgiven Mr Charisma did a mixed test, some 9s and some 4s. He has so much potential he just needs to learn not to be quite so expressive. He rolled a couple of show jumps but stormed round the 3*S cross country.
Molly Jackson and Rupert Neal’s Swhiskey tackled his first intermediate. He posted a 31.6 dressage score, show jumped clear and was fabulous cross country with just a green moment at the water costing him a top placing in the seven-year-old class; he finished seventh.
It was then on to Eland Lodge where the babies ran hors concours in the BE90… all part of their education.
