There was an outing for the younger generation last weekend to Horse-Events Elmwood Equestrian ODE which the team rerouted to after the unfortunate cancellation of Skipton.
Ruth Williams’ five-year-old One Night Only added nothing to a 24.3 test to take the win in her BE90 section. John Wrottesley’s five-year-old Luckington also had another fab spin round the BE90.
Katy Mousdale had her first run on her new ride, five-year-old Faerlie Edited, adding a pole down to a 32.5 test to finish 7th.
Becky Murfin and her own Burton’s Girl posted her first sub 30 test (a lot of hard work has gone into this!) and two great jumping rounds. Sadly a technical elimination showjumping kept them out the places but every day’s a learning day! Meanwhile, working pupil Efa Davies had another confident run round the BE80 with her own Fargo, finishing on a great clear cross country round.
