The first of Bella’s (Lets Dance) offspring, One Night Only, went to Burghley for the Dubarry five-year-old young event horse championship. Jeanette rode Lets Dance to a double clear on her Burghley debut in 2013, also jumping clear in 2015…
One Night Only, by Jaguar Mail, shows all of her mother’s attributes which is very exciting for owner and breeder Ruth Williams, a long-time supporter of Jeanette.
It was then on to Epworth where John Wrottesley’s Luckington (pictured) led the dressage on 27, rolled a pole showjumping and was clear across country to finish third in the BE90Open.
Ruth Williams’ One Night Only stepped up to BE100, jumping a double clear after a 26.8 dressage to finish fourth.
Head girld Katy Mousdale and Faerlie Edited finished on their 33.3 dressage score, third in a BE90. Becky Murfin placed seventh in a BE80 on a double clear with Burtons Girl, and Efa Davies and her own Fargo finished just out of the top 10, also at BE80.
Efa now leaves, after a great gap year, to go to University.
