Allerton Park provided excellent going and tracks, which the horses loved.
Sally Hayward and Mary MacGregor’s Drumgiven Mr Charisma led the dressage on 24.8, jumping double clear in the Novice, albeit running hors concours. Meanwhile Swhiskey, owned by Molly Jackson and Rupert Neal, finished 9th in his Novice section and Future Game of Hearts was as keen as ever with a 32.0 dressage test and a great clear across country.
The five-year-olds all had their first BE100 run. Primiro, owned by Jill Sackett, finished on his dressage score of 28 for 2nd place. Mark Johnson and Yvonne Mott’s My Cool Gold jumped a lovely double clear after a 34 test.
My Forever Blue, also owned by Mark and Yvonne did a 30 dressage, clear showjumping and just a green moment at the corner in an otherwise great round across country.
Katy Mousdale and Ruth and Mike Mousdale’s Chill Chick did a 32 dressage, clear showjumping, and a baby 20 penalties at fence two across country, then stormed round the rest of the course.
Huge thank you to the fantastic team behind the scenes which makes this all possible
