Jan had seven novice runners at Aston-le-Walls, Jack Daniels the star of the show with a fourth place finish off the back of a double clear. Cougar Mail was also in the ribbons with My Forever Blue and Swhiskey only narrowly missing out.
In the CCI4*S Drumgiven Mr Charisma achieved the desired qualifying score.
