Jan had a fantastic weekend at Burnham Market made all the better being without rain and mud. The courses were excellent and the going perfect, with all the horses performing well.
Sally Hayward and Mary MacGregor’s Drumgiven Mr Charisma jumped a confident double clear in the open intermediate with a 35.7 test.
Molly Jackson and Rupert Neal’s Swhiskey did a 33.6 dressage test, and unfortunately lowered a few poles in the showjumping but jumped a great clear cross-country round his first Intermediate of the season, posting a top 15 finish.
Cougar Mail, owned by Mike Elvin, did a 31.8 double clear in the novice; Jan is really enjoying getting to know this mare who loves her jumping! Also in the novice, Sally Hayward’s Jack Daniels produced a 32.8 dressage and double clear.
Finally, Jan had her first run with Emily Lochore’s Gullith (pictured) – she has the ride while Emily recovers from injury. He produced a faultless performance to finish on his 27 dressage.
